As December Holidays Looms, Police Traffic Corps Deploy Regional Monitoring Officer

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - The security of Christmas and New Year Eve have been prepared by the Traffic Corps by deploying 148 personnel with 40 unit of cars. They will.be dispatched to 20 locations that range from Lampung to Banyuwangi, Central Java.

"Officers on the field is tasked to service the community with humane approach and always ready whenever they needed," says the Head of National Police Traffic Corps, Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi when leading the rally of Regional Monitoring Officer Team of Lilin Operation, as quoted from ntmcpolri.info, Thursday (12/22).

According to the latest survey from Transportation Department, there would a huge mass of traffic activity where around 44,19 million of people would simultaneously move.

Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi appealed the community to check their home first before travelling, make sure everything is safe to be left. He also implored to check the vehicles too, both the machines, fuel, or its documents.

"Our hope is that we could protect each other and take an active role in securing the regions. Safe travels," says Inspector General Shantyabudi in his closing statements.
