Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police Headquarter ready to contribute in the effort on state budget billing in the case of Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI).
Chief of Public Information of PR and Press Division of Indonesian National Police, Police Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, stated that Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police, Police General Commissioner Agus Andrianto, was appointed by the President as the additional personnel in BLBI Task Force. The involvement of the Indonesian National Police is also in coincidence with the involvement of the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Affairs, Sofyan Djalil, as part of the Task Force.
"The Coordinating Ministry of Politics, Law and Human Rights has decided, and it is on the way", Rusdi said to the press on Friday (8/10/21) at the Indonesian National Police Headquarter.
Previously, Coordinating Ministry of Politics, Law, and Human Rights, Mahfud MD, which also the Steering Committee Chairman of the BLBI Task Force, stated that the personnel addition decision was written in Presidential Decree No. 16 of 2021, which was issued on October 6, 2021. Both people are needed to overcome the rising problems related to criminal offences.
Land problems are also the reason why Mahfud MD appointed Sofyan Djalil. According to Mahfud, there have been positive measures in handling and state rights' recoveries from the BLBI fund or the assets that have to be claimed by the state until money confiscation.
Mahfud affirmed that there would be serious measures for the noncompliant obligors in conducting their responsibilities. He also said that if the problems could not be solved properly, he would conduct confiscation because it related to the state's right to collect the debt. However, Mahmud also hopes the parties called by the Task Force to cooperate by providing a commitment to pay.
"I want everyone to cooperate in returning their debt to the state", he said.
