Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian President asks all Chiefs of Regional Police to increase the Covid-19 vaccination number. The President addressed this in the virtual dialogue during his visit at the mass vaccination centre initiated by the Indonesian National Police at Bhayangkara Court of the Indonesian National Police Great Headquarter in Jakarta on Saturday (26/6/21).
All chiefs of regional police in Indonesia were also reporting vaccination event in their region. Chiefs of regional police who had the dialogue with the President are Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police, Police Inspector General Panca Putra Simanjuntak; Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi; Chief of East Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Herry Rudolf Nahak; and Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Inspector General H. Merdisyam.
During the event, President asks all chiefs of regional police to increase vaccination numbers in their regions. In their statements, all chiefs are ready to double the vaccination numbers in their region to reach the government target of one million Covid-19 doses injected daily and nationally. "I hope that starting today, we can maintain the target of one million Covid-19 vaccination daily and nationally until July or August, where we will target twice from today", the President said.
As information, President inspected the mass simultaneous vaccination event initiated by Indonesian National Police at Bhayangkara Court of the Indonesian National Police Great Headquarter and all Police across the country to support the government's programme and celebrate 75th Bhayangkara Day. The event was also attended by Chief of Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo; Commander of Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto; Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin; and Chief of National Disaster Management Authority, Lieutenant General Ganip Warsito.
