Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police has again achieved Reasonable Without Exception (WTP) opinion from the 2020 Budget Year Financial Statement Audit Results Report (LHPLK) of the Indonesian Financial Audit Board (BPK).
LHPLK was handed over directly from the First Member of Politics, Law, and Security Board of BPK, Hendra Susanto, to the Chief of National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, at Rupatama Room, Indonesian National Police Headquarter, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (29/6/2021).
Therefore, Indonesian National Police has achieved WTP opinion from BPK for eight years in a row since 2013.
Chief of National Police addressed that Bhayangkara Corps are always committed to maintaining and taking responsibility for the state budget optimally.
"This achievement must be maintained and improved to build an accountable and transparent state budget management", Sigit said in his written statement on Tuesday (29/6/2021).
Meanwhile, Hendra Susanto said that WTP is not a gift from BPK but a form of obedience from the National Police in managing and upholding accountability. "This opinion is not a gift from BPK, but a form of obedience from the National Police in managing state budget", Hendra said.
BPK, according to him, did not found any significant problems that may affect the fairness of the financial statement presentation. The audit consist of financial, performance, and specific purpose audits.
The main aim of a financial statements audit is to provide an opinion, which is the professional judgement of auditors of the information fairness presented in the financial statement with several criteria.
