Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Solo. Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, toured Solo city, Central Java, on Friday night (16/7/2021). The number one person in the Bhayangkara Corps had a dialogue and visited residents affected by the Emergency PPKM (Public Activity Restriction Enforcement) and also gave social care packages and face masks.
Chief of Police had dialogues with residents and merchants about their condition during the Cpvid-19 pandemic, mainly during the Emergency PPKM.
"How are your selling, sir? Does the Emergency PPKM affected it?", Chief of Police asked one of the street vendors. "Yes, sir", replied the vendor.
The Chief of Police then asked the merchants to be patient and adhere to Health Protocols and obey the Emergency PPKM regulation so that Covid-19 cases could decrease.
"I hope that Covid-19 cases are down so you can sell as normal again. However, please observe Health Protocols, use your face mask, and obey Emergency PPKM regulations", the Chief of Police said.
After a short conversation, the former Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency of the National Police gave basic necessities packages and face masks to the merchants and workers affected by the Emergency PPKM.
Sigit hopes that the government's aid could alleviate people's burden for a bit to pass through the pandemic. "We have a little bit of help from the government, sir. If you think it is not enough, please ask our personnel", Sigit said.
Traders and residents around thank the Chief of Police. The seller also hopes that the Covid-19 pandemic could pass so he can work like in normal times. "Thank God, thank you, sir, for the aid. This package is really helpful. I hope Covid-19 could pass soon", the seller said.
During the tour, Chief of Police was accompanied by Operation Assistant, Police Inspector General Imam Sugianto; Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi; Chief of Profession and Security, Police Inspector General Ferdy Sambo; and Chief of PR and Press Division of the National Police, Police Inspector General Argo Yuwono. One thousand packages of basic necessities have been prepared to be distributed to the people.
