This was conveyed by the Regional Police while reviewing the Covid-19 vaccination activity for the Al Fadlu Wal Fadhilah 2 Islamic Boarding School on Srogo, Sidorejo Village, Brangsong District, Kendal Regency, Monday (07/05).

The vaccination targeting the pesantren world for students was carried out by the Kendal Police Bhayangkari team in collaboration with Military District Command (Kodim) 0715/Kendal and the Kendal Regency Government. "This is an extraordinary creative breakthrough, so it can be used as a role model in other National Police. Vaccination at this Islamic boarding school shows community participation in creating communal immunity," said Pol. Inspector General Ahmad Lutfi.

"The Regional Police Chief who monitors health workers while serving the students who will be vaccinated said that so far the Central Java Regional Police have had as many as 320 precision vaccine outlets and in each police station and have stock of vaccines. For this reason, the public can register for vaccinations online, either through the Resort Police, Regional Government or Islamic Boarding Schools," he explained.

The caretaker of the Al Fadlu wal Fadhilah Islamic Boarding School, Alamudin Dimyati Rois, expressed his gratitude to the government for the vaccination program that targets students in the boarding schools he cares for. "This vaccination is certainly very necessary to break the chain of the spread of the Corona virus or Covid-19," said Gus Alam, his nickname.

It was revealed that this vaccination was facilitated by the Central Java Regional Police together with the Kendal Police and the Kendal Regional Government in this first stage targeting around 490 students. The plan will be divided into 3 to 4 stages, because the number of students is around 1,500 more. "Currently, the spread of the vaccine is quite high, so it must be immediately prevented so that new clusters of the Corona virus do not occur," he said.

Meanwhile, Kendal Regent Dico M Ganinduto said that the enthusiasm of the students was very high in participating in the vaccination. In response to this, the Kendal government will involve all Islamic boarding schools in the vaccination program. "This good dynamic must be created in the field so that all Kendal people are called to work together to make the vaccination program a success," said the Regent.
