Tribratanews.polri.go.id- Jakarta. Applying the rules for the Implementation of Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM), Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police has sealed 103 companies in the capital that are proven to have violated the rules for the Implementation of Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM).
These companies were punished because they continued to operate even though they were not categorized as essential and critical companies.
This was conveyed by the Head of Public Relations of the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police Yusri Yunus at the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police, Wednesday (07/07/2021).

In this regard, Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives, Ahmad Sahroni, expressed his appreciation to the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police together with the Jakarta Provincial Government.

According to the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives, this shows the readiness of both of them to take action against violators of health protocols.

“I really appreciate the activities of the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police Chief and the Governor, who only two days after the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities was implemented, immediately carried out inspections to many rogue companies. It is proven that so far there have been around 103 companies that have been sealed. This shows that both of them are very responsive and indiscriminate in enforcing the rules," said Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives, Thursday (07/08/2021).

Sahroni also mentioned that the sealing of stubborn companies proves the seriousness of the Jakarta Regional Government in suppressing Covid-19 cases.

According to him, a commitment like this is very much needed given the increasingly severe cases of Covid-19 in the capital.

"Indeed, in conditions like now, we can no longer play with the rules. The government must be firm and disciplined, so that citizens and companies also give up and do not dare to violate. This is also good because it shows that the government is firm not only with SMEs, but also with big businesses,” he said.

Furthermore, Sahroni considered that the firmness of the Polda Metro Jaya and the DKI Provincial Government should be an example for other regions in enforcing health protocols, especially in offices.

“I think what the Regional Police Chief and the Governor have done can be an example for other regions that are implementing Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities. There needs to be firmness and direct action to ensure that the rules are obeyed, and there are penalties for those who are naughty,” he concluded.
