Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Head of Traffic Corps of Indonesia National Police, Police Inspector General Istiono reviewed the readiness of Tanah Abang Station for the issuance of Circular Letters (SE) of Minister of Transportation No. 49 and 50. Starting Monday 12 July Commuters (KRL) users must include document of worker registration certificate (STRP) or certificate issued by regional government.

"I am with the Director General of Land Transportation, representative of the Director General of KAI (Indonesia Railways Company) the Director of KAI Tanah Abang Station, I see SE 49 and 50 is ordered for the train. About the effectiveness of its implementation, later on starting on the 12th," Head of Traffic Corps explained at Tanah Abang Station, Friday (07/09/21).

Police Inspector General Istiono also said the implementation of this new provision is specifically for people who want to travel in urban agglomeration areas during Java-Bali Emergency PPKM.

The Two Star General expects with the issuance of SE 50 and requirement for worker registration certificate (STRP), it can reduce community mobility during the implementation of Emergency PPKM. Head of Traffic Corps of Indonesia National Police also advises Resort Police to socialize this policy to the public.

"It is expected with the issuance of SE 50, it can be more than this because it is required that the STRB must be carried by passengers. Now these passengers who are agglomeration of Jakarta, Bogor and Tangerang areas to Banten, of course, it is expected will be reduced to what is required and of course later we will coordinate with the resort police to carry out socializations as well as the requirements that must be carried out by passengers," Head of Traffic Corps explained.

Police Inspector General Istiono also advised people to stay at home if there is no urgent needs during Emergency PPKM to reduce the spread of Covid 19, and for people who need to go out, they are expected to obey the rules and policies issued by Government.

"So, starting from Monday, people from Bogor, Depok, Bekasi and Tangerang, I hope they obey the rules. Community participation will be the key to the success of this SE 50. With the requirements that are applied to this SE, it will further reduce mobility on the road, “Head of Traffic Corps explained.

As we know, Government has tightened travel requirements for passengers using electric rail (KRL) mode starting on July 12, 2021. The adjustment is stated in the SE of Ministry of Transportation Number 50 Year 2021 on train travel.
