Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police Successfully Secures Three Groups Suspected of Hoarding Drugs and Oxygen Cylinders

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police succeeded in arresting three groups suspected of hoarding therapeutic drugs for handling COVID-19 and oxygen cylinders.

"We have arrested three groups of drug hoarders. They are Avigan, Ivermectin, and oxygen cylinders. Now they are being processed," explained the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Fadil Imran, Thursday (07/09/21).

The Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police Chief also confirmed that he would continue to investigate those who tried to take advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic situation to make a profit.

One of them by hoarding drugs and oxygen cylinders.

"The team also continues to work from the upstream, starting from the factory, the distributor, then we will escort it to drug stores and pharmacies so that there are no drug distribution leaks," said Two Star General.

Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police will continue to monitor and control the distribution of drugs and oxygen cylinders that are currently needed in handling COVID-19. This is done to anticipate price spikes due to hoarding.

"Similarly, we control it so that the stock remains ready. We also control the price according to the highest retail price (HET). No one should sell more than HET," concluded Pol. Inspector General Fadil Imran.
