Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police Provides Free Ambulances to Evacuate Covid-19 Patients

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police launches additional patrol team after previously deemed the mobility limitation programme conducted from 21.00 to 04.00 as effective in decreasing public mobility in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Fadil Imran, said that the Police also prepares several ambulance units in the patrol. "The second one is, we also prepare the ambulance to assist people going to the hospital but do not have any means of transport such as in South Jakarta, or have a transport mean but afraid to do so", he explained at Presisi Court of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police Headquarter on Friday (25/6/21).

Police Inspector-General Fadil Imran affirms that Police will respond if getting reports from people who need an ambulance. "So, if the patrol team receive a report from people asking for assistance, our ambulance will come and pick them up. This effort is to strengthen existing ambulance from Jakarta Metropolitan Government in every region", he said.
