Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Gorontalo. Gorontalo Regional Police and the regional government have prepared 20 Presisi Vaccination Booths to serve people who have not been jabbed by the Covid-19 vaccines.
Chief of Gorontalo Regional Police, through his Chief of PR and Press Division, Police Grand Commissioner Wahyu Tri Cahyono, stated that Chief of Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has instructed all personnel in Regional Police to open Presisi vaccination booth to facilitate people have not been jabbed by the Covid-19 vaccines.
Therefore, the instruction was followed up by the Chief of Gorontalo Regional Police by collaborating with the Local Health Agency and also Armed Forces open 20 Presisi vaccination booths spread across Gorontalo province.
"We have prepared 20 Presisi vaccination booths to serve unvaccinated people. People can go to the booth and just bring a National ID Card. Afterwards, we will check your health. If eligible, they can go straight to the vaccination booth. It is free", Police Grand Commissioner Wahyu Tri Cahyono said on Thursday (8/7/2021).
Chief of PR and Press Division said that officers who serve the booths are from Doctor and Health Division of Gorontalo Regional Police, Doctor and Health Team of Local Departmental Police, and Local Health Agencies from Province/Regency/City, and also Local Public Health Centre officers.
"The booths are opened every working day from 08.00 to 12.00 local time", Chief of PR and Press Division said.
Besides, the Chief of the PR and Press Division reminds all people of the importance of vaccine and Health Protocols' discipline in preventing Covid-19.
According to him, vaccination aims to improve people's immunity. Therefore, mass vaccination events will form the herd immunity required in accelerating Covid-19 handling.
Even though people are vaccinated, according to him, discipline towards Health Protocols (wearing face masks, keeping distance, avoid crowds, and reduced mobility) must be upheld.
"Never being lax and off-guard. We are now even suggested to use the double mask to anticipate the Delta variant of Covid-19", Chief of PR and Press Division concludes.

North Gorontalo Departmental Police, in Kwandang and Molingkapoto Public Health Centres
