Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Papua. Five members of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) arrested in Sinak, Puncak Regency, are still interrogated in Timika. Papua Regional Police still investigate their roles.
"The five KKB members arrested in Sinak by the Armed Forces are now in Timika for further investigation", Chief of Papua Regional Police, Police Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri, in Jayapura, on Thursday (15/7/2021).
Chief of Papua Regional Police said that those five terrorists would be scheduled to further investigation to ensure whether they involve in several armed violence actions.
Those five people would later fly to Jayapura for intensive interrogation to ease investigators to match our data, considering many shootings and persecutions that killed civilians in the Papuan mountains region.
"Usually, after conducting criminal action, they run away to several places or regions. Those five arrested KKB members are not included in Police's wanted list", Chief of Regional Police said.
Chief of Regional Police admits that even though they are not included in the wanted list, it is impossible for them to be involved in other cases. That is what the Police are now investigating, whether they are involved or not.
"I have not received a report whether they have arrived in Jayapura yet, because the case is at the hands of the General Crime Directorate of Papua Regional Police.
