Enlivening the 76th Indonesian Independence Anniversary Celebration, Binmas Noken and Diskominfo Held Many Contests for Puncak Jaya Children

In commemorating the 76th Indonesian independence anniversary, Indonesian National Police through Binmas Noken (Noken Community Development) Task Force with the Diskominfo (Communication and Informatics Agency) of Puncak Jaya Regency held many contests for the children of Wanegobak village on Thursday (August 12, 2021). The contests held to celebrate independence day is sack race, run with marbles, eating crackers, and putting nails in the bottle. The children of Wanegobak village were enthusiastic about attending many contests held by Binmas Noken Task Force and Community Armed Forces Unit of Mulia Military District Command. When interviewed during the event, personnel of Binmas Noken Task Force, Police Brigadier 1st Class Odesua M Kiding, said that in commemorating the 76th Indonesian independence anniversary, Binmas Noken of Puncak Jaya, in collaboration with Diskominfo of Puncak Jaya and Mulia Military District Command, held many interesting contests to boost the spirit of the children of Puncak Jaya. Police Brigadier 1st Class Odesua M Kiding continued that, besides holding many contests, the personnel also gave face masks to children, educating them on the importance of Health Protocols such as wearing a face mask, washing their hands, and keeping the distance to avoid Coronavirus transmission. Meanwhile, in the same place, the community figure of the Wanegobak village, Mr Metiles Telenggen, appreciated contests held by the security officers and Diskominfo of Puncak Jaya. He hopes that these kids could understand and love Indonesia more.
