East Java Regional Police Successfully Arrest Three Technician Shooting Perpetrators in Bangkalan

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Surabaya. The East Java Police and the Bangkalan Police have managed to apprehend three shooters against a technician named Aswar. Then D, (34) a resident of Dukuh Pakis, Surabaya City. Finally, F (35) is a resident of the Keraton Village, Bangkalan Regency.
This case began on Saturday (08/07/2021). At that time, the victim received an order to repair the damaged wifi cable network in Kailas housing, Karangpandan Hamlet, East Sukolilo Village, Labang District, Bangkalan Regency. Initially the victim was accompanied by three other technicians and two friends of the victim.
However, at 20.30 Western Indonesian Time, the three technicians led the way home. Then the victim continued repairs at the point of installation damage in the form of a broken cable at the roadside position at the entrance to the Kailas housing.
At around 10.00 PM, when the repair process was underway, suddenly an unknown man came walking from the east side (bushes), immediately approached and shot the victim twice at a distance of 3 meters.

The first shot hit the left arm and knocked the victim down. The second shot was aimed at the victim's head. The shot missed and only grazed and hit the ground. "The perpetrator had previously planned the assassination attempt," said the East Java Regional Police Chief, Pol. General Inspector Nico Afinta at the Bangkalan Police Headquarter, Wednesday (08/12/2021).

The three actors have different roles. S is the main perpetrator who carried out the shooting. Then D plays a role in helping disconnect the wifi cable around the shooting location that has been determined so that the victim can be executed at that location. While F plays a role in helping to find information on the whereabouts of the victim and showing the location of the victim's whereabouts at the time of the incident.
The evidence that was secured from this case included one silver (chrome) revolver assembled firearm, seven 38 caliber bullets, one projectile that was secured from the crime scene and others.
The three suspects were charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code jo. Articles 53, 55, 56 of the Criminal Code are subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code jo. Articles 53, 55, 56 of the Criminal Code are more subsidiary to Article 351 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code jo. Article 56 of the Criminal Code and Article 1 paragraph (1) of the RI Law No. 12 of 1951 which carries a maximum penalty of 13 years in prison and 20 years in prison.
