Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Surabaya. Suspects for rioting in the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions judicial operation in Bulak Banteng, Surabaya, East Java, are said to be increasing. Apart from suspect E, the owner of the shop, the police are currently hunting for other suspects.

We are not standing still, the case continues to be developed. We are also investigating other provocateurs acting on social media, said the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, in Surabaya, Monday, July 12, 2021.

The Head of Public Relations said the police together with the National Armed Forces and the local government would continue to carry out judicial operations. Even later, personnel will be added, especially in the Bulak Banteng area to discipline the community in implementing health protocols.

"Today we also provide basic food assistance in the Bulak Banteng area," explained the Head of Public Relations.

Meanwhile, the East Java Regional Police Chief, Pol. General Inspector Nico Afinta, invites the public to obey and comply with the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions policy. The government does not prohibit people from trading, but as long as the policy is not repealed, he asks that they follow the rules of the game.

"Those who sell it are allowed, but they are not allowed to eat packaged on the spot. Remember, there are many patients who need to be cured. Let's help doctors, medical personnel, and take care of themselves and the people around them with health protocol discipline," explained the Regional Police Chief.
