East Java Regional Police deployed Law Enforcement Task Force (Gakkum) in Aman Nusa II Operation on the fourth day of Emergency PPKM (Community Restriction Activity) implementation. The Law Enforcement Task Force consists of General Criminal Investigation Directorate, Directorate of Special Crimes Investigation and Directorate of Drug Investigation of East Java Regional Police.
"The Law Enforcement Task Force is in charge of a monitoring or examining letters in and out of areas that are suspected to be illegal," Head of Public Affairs of East Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko said, Tuesday (07/06/2021) while checking the insulation post at Waru Sidoarjo roundabout.
Head of Public Affairs of East Java Regional Police added inspections of vehicles from outside the city are carried out randomly at checkpoints. For people who cannot show Covid-19-free certificates outside L and W plates, they will be reversed.
"Illegal Covid-19-free certificate has not yet been found. The entire Law Enforcement Task Force from Regional Police and Resort Police who are members of Aman Nusa II Operation continue to carry out their duties," he emphasized.
Head of Public Affairs of East Java Regional Police explained East Java Regional Police and their ranks also continue to monitor the information on oxygen scarcity amid the spike in Covid-19 cases. "All Resort Police currently continue to check the distribution of oxygen. If any violations are found, they will be dealt with," he said.
The Head of Public Affairs of East Java Regional Police stated they have received the results of monitoring from Resort Police in the East Java region. Also, police have received reports from Indonesia Hospital Association (PERSI) in East Java. "Until now it is sufficient. We do not know what will happen in the future. We will continue to monitor it," he concluded.
