East Java Regional Police Chief Together with Military Regional Commander V Brawijaya Review the Implementation of Mass Vaccination in Kenjeran Surabaya and GOR Delta Sidoarjo

General Inspector Nico Afinta Karo-Karo and the Military Commander V Brawijaya Major General Suharyanto directly observed the implementation of mass vaccinations held at Kenpark Courtyard, Kenjeran Surabaya, and at the GOR Courtyard of Sidoarjo Regency Stadium, East Java, Saturday (06/26/2021).

On this occasion, the East Java Regional Police Chief and Regional Commander V Brawijaya along with the Regional Secretary (Sekdaprov) of East Java Province Heru Tjahjono and Head of Fleet Command II Vice Admiral David Santoso, and the East Java's Regional Leadership Coordination Forum held a video conference with the President of Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo which was carried out simultaneously with 34 Regional Police Headquarters around Indonesia.

Mass vaccination was carried out today in the framework of the 75th Bhayangkara Day, with a target of reaching 117,478. For the implementation of vaccination at Kenpark Kenjeran Surabaya, a total of 4,500 peoples, while at Sidoarjo Stadium GOR, reached 2,000 peoples.

Before receiving the vaccination, the public must first fill out the data collection registration, then blood pressure will be checked, if the blood pressure meets the requirements, it will continue to the screening process.

On this occasion, the East Java Regional Police Chief said that in the East Java area, there were 206 places that were used as vaccination locations, while for the vaccinators who joined as many as 2950 peoples throughout East Java, the details of the combined personnel of the National Police were 1,352 peoples, the National Armed Forces of 550 peoples and the East Java Health Office 1,048 peoples. In addition, East Java has 986 Community Health Centers and 334 hospitals spread across East Java, with as many as ten vaccinators in each health centre and up to 30 vaccinators in each hospital. With this capital, we believe East Java can succeed in one million vaccines per day Indonesia.

It is hoped that the daily vaccination target is 50 peoples in every community health centres and 200 peoples in every hospital. So in a day the vaccination in East Java reaches 116,100 doses. East Java. This is part of supporting the government's program of targeting one million vaccines per day in Indonesia, also being implemented by the Indonesian National Police. Today, it is targeted that as many as 2,000 people carry out vaccinations from 8 am to 4 pm. Hopefully, the target is 117,478 thousand can be done well, added the East Java Regional Police Chief.

"We together with Regional leadership Coordination Forum will succeed by accelerating the vaccination program, one of which is by inviting the public to vaccinate by visiting people's homes. Moreover, this has already been carried out, such as in Bangkalan, Madura, East Java. After vaccination, the community is expected to continue to comply with health protocols by implementing 5M, so that the active number of Covid-19 can decrease and the economy in East Java can bounce back," concluded the East Java Regional Police Chief.
