Dekai, Papua – Quick Response (Samapta) Unit of Yahukimo Departmental Police, led by Police Inspector 2nd Class Alwi Hidayat, patrols and spreads information about the importance of Covid-19 Health Protocols by distributing face masks to the public in Pemukiman Masyarakat street on Thursday (29/7/2021).
During the patrol, before face mask distribution, personnel of the Samapta Unit appeals to the public always to implement Health Protocols such as wearing a face mask, washing hands, keeping distance, and reducing mobility to prevent Covid-19 transmission.
"Before face mask giving, we inform the public always to implement Health Protocols", the Chief of Samapta Unit said.
Meanwhile, Chief of Yahukimo Departmental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Deni Herdiana, hope that through this event, public awareness on the importance of Health Protocols increase and the transmission of Covid-19 could be avoided.
"The key of Covid-19 prevention is to reduce gathering/crowds, and self-awareness by implementing Health Protocols as suggested by the government. Through the patrol event, we hope we could increase public awareness on the Health Protocols obedience during the Covid-19 pandemic", Chief of Departmental Police concluded
