Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Semarang. A total of 325 perpetrators of motor vehicle theft (curanmor) were successfully arrested by the Central Java Regional Police. Of the 325 perpetrators are a family consisting of husband and wife or father and children.
Central Java Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector-General Ahmad Luthfi said that his party had ordered the ranks of 35 Resort Police/City Police/Resort Departemental Police to hold a Temple Concentration Operation (Sikat Jaran) 2021 within a span of 20 days from October 11 to October 31.
The two-star general explained that from the results of the operation carried out by the Central Java Regional Police and 35 Resort Police/City Police/Resort Departemental Police, they could secure 287 motorcycles and 14 cars three trucks. Meanwhile, other evidence that was also secured was 21 units of a laptop, 99 units of gadgets and 763 grams of gold jewellery, and cash of more than IDR 150 million.
The Central Java Regional Police Chief explained that most of the arrested suspects were carrying sharp weapons in their actions.
“What stands out in revealing the case is related to one, we can reveal a luxury car network and the second is an indication of the perpetrator in the family. So there are perpetrators, a husband, wife and even their children are perpetrators. This is a new mode that we can reveal. This is an extraordinary disclosure of the 2021 Central Java Police sikat Jaran Candi Operation, so this will be a lesson for other actors," explained the Central Java Police Chief.
The Central Java Regional Police Chief explained that the results of the 2021 Brush Jaran Candi Operation were able to complete the target case of 110 cases and not the target case of 162 cases.
