But don't worry, pals, for those who don't have a citizenship number, you can still get free Covid-19 vaccination services.
It has been determined through Circular No. HK.02.02/III/15242/2021 dated August 2, 2021, issued by the central government.
This circular includes the implementation of vaccinations for vulnerable communities, such as groups of people with disabilities, indigenous peoples, residents of correctional institutions, Persons with Social Welfare Problems (PMKS), Indonesian Migrant Workers with Problems (PMIB), other communities who do not yet have a NIK, and others.
Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Task Force (Satgas) Reisa Broto Asmoro said the Covid-19 vaccination service for people who do not have a citizenshi can be carried out together with the Population and Civil Registry Office.
Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Vaccination of the Ministry of Health, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, also confirmed that people who do not have a citizenship at this time can take part in the Covid-19 vaccination. Nadia said that the Covid-19 vaccination will be carried out in collaboration with the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dukcapil).
According to him, Dukcapil officers will also be present at the vaccination site to facilitate people who do not have a citizenship card.
Siti Nadia Tarmizi said, the flow of Covid-19 vaccination for people who do not have a citizenship number is as follows:
- People who don't have a citizenship number comes to the Covid-19 vaccination location.
- Citizenship and Civil Registration officers record People who do not have a citizenship number to make a new citizenship number.
- Conducted health screening of prospective vaccine recipients.
- After passing the screening, the public will receive the vaccine.
He said that after vaccination, people would also get a certificate as proof that they had participated in the Covid-19 vaccination.
