Central Java Traffic Directorate reviewed the toll roads of Semarang-Demak section 2 before it would be officially open for the public on December 22nd.
The Director of Traffic Central Java Police Unit, Commissioner Agus Suryo Nugroho says that those inspection was to directly saw the preparation of Semarang-Demak section 2 toll roads ahead of Christmas and New Year holiday.
“This afternoon, we are surveying the road from the city to Sayung, with the toll roads management. We are ensuring that tommorrow, at 7 am, this toll road will be open for public,” says Commissioner Agus Suryo, Wednesday (12/21).
By opening the Semarang- Demak Section 2, it is hoped that it would suppres the numbers of congestion in traffic.
“We are making sure that the toll roads is ready, along with its supporting infrastructure. We hope that with the operational of this toll road, it could ease the traffic congestion towars Kudus, Pati, and to Pantura,” concluded Commissioner Agus Suryo.
