Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Police continues to give their best medical service to the injured in Cianjur due to the earthquake. To reach the areas where the ambulance cannot get through, the police deployed medical teams using trail bike to reach the isolated regions.

The Head of National Police Medical Unit, dr. Asep Hendradina, said there are 516 earthquake evacuation posts on Cianjur, which some of them are inaccessible by cars and trucks. However, with this trail bike medical team, he hoped it would be able to provide medical services to the community.

“With our Police Medical Task Force of Cianjur earthquake, it is expected of them to be able to help the community, particularly in health sector,” said dr. Asep in his written statement, Tuesday (11/29).

The doctor said that the medical patrol will begin their operation starting on Tuesday. The patrol will involved 16 personel from Metro Jaya Police Mobile Brigade Corps, using 16 trail bikes, where they will carry the health workers to the isolated areas.

Based on current data, there are 806 that have been successfully treated through this medical patrol program.

“Police will continue to provide its service, including in health sector, to the earthquake victims and I wish them fast recovery,” he said.
