Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Fadil Imran, launch team prepared to patrol in strengthening PPKM Mikro (Micro-scaled Public Activity Limitation Enforcement) in the midst of rising daily new cases of Covid-19.
Police Inspector General Fadil Imran said that the team would operate in Neighbourhood and Hamlet level, or village level, to limit public mobility. "Everything would be conducted simultaneously and will strengthen the community-based established PPKM Mikro by patrolling in and out of the neighbourhood to target crowds and limit public mobility, besides educating people to stay wearing face masks", he said on Friday (25/6/21).
These patrol teams consist of hundreds of Police vehicle. "There are 100 patrolling cars from Traffic Police Corps, 30 patrolling vehicles from First Response Unit, added with Mobile Brigade in accordance with the zones and regions that require public discipline improvement. All of them will start this afternoon and will work until next noon", Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police said.
The two-star general reminded the patrolling police personnel to keep humane in conducting the duty. "Conduct the patrol humanely, but stay firm to those violating Health Protocols. I hope the benefit of this strengthening effort could be felt. That is all I can say for now. Enjoy your duty, stay healthy, and keep use face mask and gloves when interacting with people, mainly in the crowds", he said.
