In commemorating the 76th Indonesian Independence Anniversary in 2021, Noken Community Development Unit never stops take its attention off to the Papua's previous generations. This time, personnel of the Noken Community Development Task Force held the "Polisi Pi Ajar" event for tens of children at the Wona Warobeng reading garden in Yapen Islands Regency on Friday (August 13, 2021).

The Polisi Pi Ajar event (Si-Ipar) was led by Police Inspector 1st Class Wayan Sukandia, as the Regional Coordinator Chief of Yapen Islands Noken Community Development Unit, along with other two personnel this afternoon. Besides giving general education such as state coat of arms and the national flag, the personnel also boost spirit to the children to stay disciplined in studying and in school even though experiencing online learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Besides that, the personnel gave them the national flag, red-and-white ribbons, books, and gifts to all children in the Wona Warobeng reading garden as the concrete step of their love towards the motherland and commemorating the 76th Indonesian independence anniversary.
There was great enthusiasm from the kids of the reading garden when the Noken Community Development personnel held a quiz with the prize and asked them about Indonesia's anniversary.
When confirmed about the event, Police Inspector 1st Class Wayan Sukandia said that in commemorating the 76th Indonesian independence anniversary, the Noken Community Development Task Force of the Yapen Islands region keep conducting positive activities in education such as Si-Ipar for tens of kids of Wonau Warobeng reading garden of Pasir Putih and Nundawipi villages of Serui Laut.
"The kids of Wonau Warobeng reading gardens are cheerful, in high spirit, and highly enthusiast when the Noken Community Development Unit Task Force started to conduct teaching such as short prize quiz, gave them a national flag, red-and-white ribbons, and gifts of books and candies", Police Inspector 1st Class Wayan Sukandia said.
"Besides, we also slip some information on public security and order and Health Protocols for all kids and people of Wonau Warobeng reading garden as the real proof of our togetherness in fighting Covid-19 in Indonesia", Police Inspector 1st Class Wayan Sukandia concluded.
At the same place, the caretaker of Wonau Warobeng reading garden addressed their gratitude to the Noken Community Development Task Force, who has been there to teach Papuan kids. They hope that in commemorating the 76th Indonesian independence anniversary, the Noken Community Development Unit held many competitions to motivate and boost the spirit of children of the Wonau Warobeng reading garden.
