Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Joko Widodo addresses his appreciation to the Police personnel that have worked hard in handling the Covid-19 pandemic in the country. The appreciation statement was delivered when the Head of State delivered his ceremonial mandate on the Commemoration of the 75th Bhayangkara Day held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at the State Palace, Jakarta, in virtual means.
"I hereby wish you a happy 75th Bhayangkara Day and also delivers my highest appreciation to the hard work of the Police personnel in handling the Covid-19 pandemic", President said.
Besides conducting their main tasks, Presiden continued, Police also have formed a synergy with many parties in conducting government's policies on handling the Covid-19 pandemic.
"I really know, besides conducting their main duties, Police personnel also have synergised with Armed Forces, doctors, and health workers, with ministries and agencies, with officials, regional governments, mainly the Health Agency, and volunteers and other supporting officers in handling this pandemic", President continued.
The Head of State also asked Police personnel not to be off guard, keep conducting their primary duties to create order and security, and provide protection and service to the public.
"Police cannot be off guard in conducting their duties, Police cannot be off guard in maintaining public security and order, and law enforcement. Police cannot be off guard in providing the best protection, security, and service to the public", the Head of State concluded.
President Jokowi believes that Police will keep providing the best service in conducting duties to the people, nation, and country.
"Long Live Indonesian National Police! Keep your transformation towards a Presisi Police who become the main servant of our nation".
President was accompanied by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin; Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo; and Commander of the Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto. Meanwhile, other invitees and participants followed the event through video conferences from many locations across the Indonesian archipelago.
