Two Madura network couriers with the initials LK and ZN who were about to smuggle methamphetamine were arrested by the Directorate of Drug Investigation of the East Java Regional Police. During the arrest, the police managed to secure evidence in 6 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine.
The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko said that this disclosure resulted from a collaboration between Surabaya Tanjung Perak Customs and the Directorate of Drugs and Drugs at the East Java Police. The incident began with information from customs that there were suspicious goods and suspected narcotics.
"From the investigation and development results in the field, the team managed to capture LK and ZN. LK is a resident of Karang Kokap Hamlet, Sruni Village, Jenggawah District, Jember Regency. Meanwhile, the suspect ZN was born in Sampang, Madura," explained the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Tuesday (10/18/2021).
From the interrogation of the two suspects, that these illicit goods came from Malaysia. Nevertheless, they are a network of Sokobanah Madura.
Head of the Bin Ops Division of the Directorate of East Java Regional Police's Drug Investigation, Pol. Grand Commissioner Samsul Makali explained that this item was packaged in a package that customs suspected. From there, it was finally developed and finally revealed and arrested the two methamphetamine couriers.
"The confessions from the two suspects have only been carried out twice, and for both of them, they are couriers," explained the Head of the Bin Ops Division of the Narcotics Directorate of the East Java Regional Police.
The plan is that these illicit goods will be sent to Madura and Jember. A single delivery of 6 kilograms. For 1 kilo of crystal methamphetamine, the suspect received IDR 1 million.
Until now, members are still hunting for another suspect with the initials SY. He has been assigned to the People's Wanted List (DPO), who ordered the two suspects to take the methamphetamine package.
In this case, the two suspects were charged with Article 114 Paragraph (2) and Article 122 Paragraph (2) Juncto Article 132 Paragraph (1) Law Number 35 the Year 2009 concerning Drugs.
