Chief of the Bengkulu Regional Police Monitors the Implementation of the Merdeka Vaccination Raid Program

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bengkulu. Chief of the Bengkulu Regional Police, Police Major General Guntur Setyanto conducted direct monitoring and review of the implementation of the Merdeka Vaccination Assault Program held by Bengkulu Regional Police, Saturday (07/08/21).

Monitoring of the Merdeka Vaccination activities was carried out at several points, namely at the Bhayangkara Medika 2 Clinic in Police Medicine and Health Uni, Bhayangkara Hospital, Bengkulu Regional Police Mobile Brigade Command Headquarters and Bengkulu Regional Police Water Police Directorate Command Headquarters.

Police Major General Guntur Setyanto said that the Merdeka Vaccination campaign was a continuation of the vaccination campaign that had previously been carried out by the Bengkulu Regional Police and Resort Police to support the acceleration of vaccination to prevent an increase in Covid-19.

"We will carry out this activity simultaneously with the Bengkulu Regional Police and Resort Police in the Bengkulu Regional Police. In this Merdeka Vaccination campaign, we are targeting as many as 10,000 vaccinations for the community," explained Two Stars General.

The Merdeka Vaccination campaign is specifically aimed at injecting the second dose of vaccine for people who have participated in previous vaccination attacks. However, the Merdeka Vaccination campaign is also intended for people who want to carry out a dose one injection vaccination.

On this occasion, the regional police chief also provided social assistance to several vaccinated and affected by Covid-19. The assistance provided was in the form of necessities and a red and white flag as a symbol of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

"In addition, we also provide sympathies to people affected by Covid-19. We give this flag so that later it can be installed at the residence of each recipient to coincide with independence day," concluded Chief of the Bengkulu Regional Police.
