Chief of Tembagapura Sectoral Police Distributed National Flags to Residents

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Mimika. In commemorating, celebrating, and educating the residents of the August independence celebration, all residents must raise the national flag in front of houses and offices.
On Saturday (7/8), Chief of Tembagapura Sectoral Police, Police Inspector 1st Class Menase Sayori, along with other six joint personnel from Sectoral Police and Mobile Brigade of Babel, distributed red-and-white flag to residents of three villages of Banti 1, Banti 2, and Opitawak in commemoration of Indonesian Independence Anniversary on August 17, 2021.
The first batch of personnel was departed from Tembagapura Sectoral Police by four-wheeled vehicle to Banti 2 village of Kimbeli to distribute 30 national flags and educate people's representatives that the national flag must be August raised to commemorate August 17 as they are the citizens of Indonesia.
The second batch consisted of the Chief of Tembagapura Sectoral Police and his personnel, move to Banti 1 village to give 30 national flags to the village representative and asked the national flag to be raised as soon as possible.
One of the residents, as the leading figure of the village, warmly welcomed the Chief of Sectoral Police and thanked them for the national flag. "We will raise the flag to commemorate the Indonesian independence anniversary because no one sells the flag, but we want to buy them. This is a great thing from the Chief of Sectoral Police for us".
On the third batch, the Chief of Tembagapura Sectoral Police went on foot across the mountains and hillside and arrived at the Opitawak village. "We then gathered the residents and gave 50 national flags and instruct them to raise it in commemorating 76th Indonesian independence anniversary", Sayori concluded.
