Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Palembang. Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police, Police Inspector General Eko Indra Heri S inaugurated the renovation of Plaju Sector Police building in courtyard of Plaju Sector Police Headquarter, Palembang, Wednesday (07/14).
Police Inspector General Eko said physical changes of Plaju Sector Police building must be followed by improving services dor community. "We have to follow this new building by improving services for community," Chief South Sumatera Regional Police said.
Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police explained police will serve all community regardless of their social status or whatsoever.
"We must not discriminate people. Peaople wearing neat clothes or no will get maximum service,” Chief South Sumatera Regional Police said.
In addition, Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police also invited all elements of society to work together to face Covid-19. "Let's fight Covid-19 together, because now the number continues to increase in our region," Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police mentioned.
Even beds in several hospitals in South Sumatera are 100 percent full, so they set up healthy homes for mild symptoms. "As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, every hospital in South Sumatra is 100 percent full, so we provide healthy homes for those with mild symptoms," Chief of South Sumatera said.
Therefore, Police of South Sumatera Regional Police will implement 2020 SOP by examining people who want to enter territory of both Regency / City and Province of South Sumatra.
"We must remain alert by implementing health procedures, wearing masks, staying away from crowds, washing hands and others in the hope to prevent Covid-19transmission ," Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police said.
