The activity was led directly by the South Sumatra Police Chief, Inspector General. Pol. Eko Indra Heri. The event was also attended by Deputy Chief of Police, Birgjend Pol Rudi Setiawan, Daily Executor Irwasda, Grand Commissioner Bambang Irawan, and High-Rank Executives of South Sumatra Regional Police.
After embedding the sign of promotion to its members, the South Sumatra Police Chief congratulated and upholds the mandate that has been given by the State.
The two-star general hopes that in the future the National Police, especially members of the South Sumatra Police, will become more precise police officers. The concept of Precision Police or predictive policing, responsibility, and fair transparency, is the design of a system to realize a transformative, reformist and increasingly beloved Police of the people.
“The challenges for the police in the future will be even more difficult. Therefore, the police in the future must be more humane, so that this heavy burden can be carried out so that Indonesia is more advanced," explained the South Sumatra Police Chief.
Meanwhile, of the 1,000 South Sumatran Police personnel who received a promotion on July 1, 2021, including 70 personnel with the rank of officer. 895 had the rank of non-commissioned officer and the remaining 35 were of the rank of enlisted.
