Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jayapura. Chief of Papua Regional Police, Police Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri, on Monday, visited Police Brigadier 1st Class Kenny Karlos, personnel of the Mobile Brigade who was shot by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Seradala district, Yahukimo regency.
Police Brigadier 1st Class Kenny Karlos, whose member of Nemangkawi Task Force's Law Enforcement Task Force, was shot during the shooting incident with the KKB led by Tendius Gwijangge on Saturday (10/7) night and still under intensive care in the ICU room of Kotaraja Bhayangkara Hospital.
Chief of Papua Regional Police, Police Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri, said the hospital to take care of him until he recovered.
Previously, Chief of Bhayangkara Hospital, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant dr. Andi reports that the condition of Police Brigadier 1st Class Kenny Karlos is getting better and conscious after undergoing surgery on Sunday (11/7).
"The surgery was conducted to take projectile that was in his stomach. After surgery, three bullet projectiles have been taken out, and he has received two bags of blood", Police Grand Commissioner Attendant dr. Andi said.
Police Brigadier 1st Class Kenny Karlos was evacuated to Jayapura on Sunday (11/7) after flown from Dekai, capital of Yahukimo regency.
