Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police affirms the appeal in the meeting with the Deputy Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police, Primary Officials, and Chiefs of Departmental Police. PPKM Mikro that has been determined by Gubernatorial Instruction No. 188.54/26/Inst/2021 on July 5, 2021, on the Extension of PPKM Mikro and Optimisation of Covid-19 Handling Command Post in Villages and Subdistricts.
Police Inspector General Panca Putra instructs all Chiefs of Departmental Police to increase Judicial Operation, affirming operational hours for business places, and 75% Work From Home (WFH) and 25% Work From Office (WFO) on offices at the red zones. Out of the red zones, 50% WFH and 50% WFO regulation is in effect.
Activities in department stores and trading centres are open until 17.00 local times with 25% of its maximum visitors with tight Health Protocols. The regulation is also for dining stalls, cafes, street vendors, et cetera.
"I instruct Chiefs of Departmental and Sectoral Police together with Armed Forces, Municipal Police, Covid-19 Task Force, and people in their regions to optimise massive judicial operation to anticipate potency of crowds during PPKM Mikro, either related to economy and offices or activities that could violate Health Protocols. Meanwhile, other leisure places such as nightclubs, discotheques, pubs, karaoke, bars, massage parlours, spa, and other dexterity game buildings are subjected to limitations on operational hours up to 20.00 local time with 50% capacity and tightened Health Protocols.
