Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Fadil Imran, explains that Police has prepared seven task forces to combat Covid-19 during Emergency PPKM (Public Activity Limitation Enforcement), which will take effect on Saturday (3/7/21).
"There are seven task forces that will work in collaboration from the Armed Forces-Police and regional government elements to face the Covid-19 pandemic, and there will be task forces such as law enforcement, vaccine escort and guard, health service improvement, micro-scaled PPKM, community development, and detection team, which will detect the development and evaluating Covid-19 rising cases in Jakarta Capital Region", he explained on Friday (2/7/21).
Police Inspector General Fadil Imran said that besides focusing on Emergency PPKM, Police would also support and strengthen Covid-19 referral hospitals. "Tonight, there will be limitations and insulation in the area under our jurisdiction. Then, hospitals' guard, support, and improvement would be conducted altogether", Chief of Regional Police said.
The two-star general hopes that efforts by Armed Forces-Police will bring Jakarta out of Covid-19 pandemic problems and asked the public to help the success of Emergency PPKM by staying disciplined and responsible in adhering to Health Protocols.
"I hope these efforts will succeed because we are now in an emergency. If we are not disciplined and responsible for our common safety, we will drown deeper in these hard times. I hope these determined measures could bring us out of these hard times", the Chief of Regional Police said.
