Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, made a working visit to Murung Raya Resort Police together with Commander of 102 Panju Panjung Military Resort Command and several High Rank Officers of Central Kalimantan Regional Police.
This activity was immediately welcomed by Mura Regional Leader Communication Forum, Chief of Mura Resort Police, Police Superintendent I Gede Putu W., and High-Rank of Resort Police.
In his visit this time, Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police monitored micro-scale PPKM (Community Activity Restriction) Command Post in Beriwit Puruk Cahu Sub-District, Murung District, Murung Raya Regency, Sunday (8/8/2021) afternoon.
According to the Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, the micro-scale PPKM Command Post is role model in controlling Covid-19 spread and has proven to be effective, so it needs to be maintained and strengthened.
“Now local government has issued circular letter regarding the extension of PPKM. This policy is to prevent the spread of Covid-19, especially in Central Kalimantan so it will be significantly declined," Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police explained.
In addition, Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police advised community to remain vigilant and continue to implement health protocol as way to break the chain of Covid-19 spread.
"In this activity, Indonesia National Armed Forces and Indonesia National Police continue to oversee the movement of community's economy. MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) must be supported and mobilized so community's economy continues to improve," Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police concluded.
At the end of the activity, he and his entourage provided masks and aid to micro-scale PPKM Command Post officers.
