Tribratanews.polri.go.id- Palangka Raya. Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo together, Commander of Military Regional 102/Pjg Brigadier General Purwo Sudaryanto, Chairman of Regional Parliamentary Province of Central Kalimantan Wiyatno and Police Inspectorat of Central Kalimantan Police Commissioner Iman Prijantoro, carried out a working visit in South Barito Regency (Barsel), Saturday (08/07/2021) .
The visit was also in order to directly review the implementation of the COVID-19 mass vaccination activity, entitled Merdeka vaccinating, which was held at Batuah Buntok Field, Dusun Selatan District, Barsel Regency.
On that occasion Danrem 102/Pjg Brigadier General Purwo Sudaryanto said that:
"This independent mass vaccination is expected to suppress the reproduction rate of Corona or COVID-19 so that herd immunity will soon be achieved."
The Military Regional Command also appealed to where there is still a spike in Covid-19 cases in the Central Kalimantan region, for that I advise all the people of South Barito to continue to comply with the health protocols as instructed by the Government, because by obeying with the health protocols, it can minimize and prevent the spread of Covid-19.
In this activity, social services were also carried out by providing food packages by Military Regional Command 102/Pjg to the community as well as providing vitamins to vaccinator officers, including the National Armed Forces, National Police, and related agencies.
Accompanying the independent mass vaccination review activities were Deputy Regent of South Barito Satya Titiek Atyani Djoedir, Military District Command 1012/Btk Lt. Col. Inf. Dwi Tantomo, Head of South Barito Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Agung Tri Widiantoro, as well as a number of regional apparatus and related agencies.
