This was done because the hundreds of vehicles were not equipped with travel requirements and violated the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities rules.
The Head of Public Relations of Central Java Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Iqbal Al-Qudusy said it was possible that this number would continue to grow. This number is the number of vehicles recorded in the two days of the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities implementation.
“So during the two days of Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities implementation, there were as many as 377 vehicles that would enter the Central Java region as well as between cities within the province which were turned back. Mostly motorcycles and private cars, "explained Pol. Grand Commissioner Iqbal Al-Qudusy, Tuesday (07/06/21).
The Head of Public Relations of Central Java Regional Police said that according to data, there were more than 3,000 vehicles inspected in the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities mobility control activities. Then there were 354 vehicles that were turned back for areas within the Province.
"The vehicles that were turned around were 194 motorcycles, 136 passenger cars, 16 buses and eight freight cars," said the Central Java Regional Police Intermediate Officer.
Meanwhile, for inter-provincial restrictions, there are 23 vehicles consisting of 15 motorcycles and 8 private cars.
For the examined vehicles (inter-provincial), as many as 380 motorcycles, 317 passenger cars, 40 buses and 44 goods cars, said the Indonesian Military Academy graduate in 1996.
