Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bandung. In celebrating 75th Bhayangkara Day, West Java Regional Police, together with 3rd/Siliwangi Regional Military Command and West Java Provincial Government, held a mass vaccination event at Youth Center Arcamanik Sports Hall, Bandung, on Saturday (26/6/21).
Chief of West Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Ahmad Dofri, said that Police targets 5,000 people. This event also involved around 200 health workers from the Armed Forces, Police, and Health Office of West Java.
"So today, nationally, we held a mass vaccination event. In West Java, we conducted it at Sports Jabar Arcamanik. We target around 5,000 people to be vaccinated here", Chief of Regional Police said.
Meanwhile, West Java province targets 178,346 people in this mass vaccination event, spread across dozens of vaccination centres and health facilities in West Java. " So we target 178,346 people, spread across 23 mass vaccination centres and public health centres in West Java", the two-star general said.
Police Inspector General Ahmad Dofri said West Java must be more active in the vaccination effort due to the large population and area. He hopes that this event can help the President's programme on aiming one million people vaccinated per day. "We hope this event can go smoothly and by President who launched one million vaccinations per day programme", Chief of Regional Police said.
