Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Manado. North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Nana Sudjana handed over assistance in the form of drugs and Covid-19 prevention equipment, namely PPE or Personal Protective Equipment to Polri personnel at the North Sulawesi Police Headquarter, Tuesday (08/03/21).
The North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief along with the North Sulawesi Deputy Chief of Police, Brigadier General Rudi Darmoko and the North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief Official were present at the handing over of the aid.
The distribution of medicine and PPE was symbolically handed over to the Manado Police Chief, North Minahasa Police Chief, Bitung Police Chief, and Minahasa Police Chief.
The North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief explained that this assistance was a tangible form of internal concern, considering that quite a number of North Sulawesi Police personnel and ranks were exposed to Covid-19.
"So we need to pay special attention to North Sulawesi Regional Police personnel and ranks, by providing medicines and multivitamins to prevent Covid-19, as well as to maintain stamina," explained Two Star General.
Pol. Inspector General Nana Sudjana explained that the provision of PPE assistance for Police stations personnel was related to the significant increase in the development of the corona virus.
"The PPE provided can later be used by personnel while on duty in the field, especially in handling Covid-19 in the community," said the Military Academy graduate in 1988.
The North Sulawesi Regional Police and their ranks will continue to synergize with the National Armed Forces, the Regional Government and all relevant stakeholders, in order to suppress the spread of Covid-19.
All of these efforts must also be fully supported by the community while still complying with health protocols in order to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19.
"Let's all prevent the spread of Covid-19 with the discipline of the 5M health protocol. These are wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility," concluded the Pol. Inspector General Nana Sujana.
