Spokesperson for Centralized Police Operations Lilin 2022 of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police, Commissioner Umi Fadilah Astutik, said that the volume of vehicles entering Jakarta through the Main Cikampek Toll Gate on January 1st, 2023, was recorded at 7,062 vehicles, Sunday (1/1).
"The volume of traffic flowing out of Jakarta towards Transjawa via Main Cikampek Toll Gate are 7,094 vehicles, while those entering Jakarta via Main Cikampek Toll Gate are 7,062 vehicles," explained the Spokesperson for Operations Lilin 2022.
Commissioner Umi Fadilah Astutik, explained, comparative data on the volume of traffic flowing out of Jakarta via Main Kalihurip Toll Gate towards Bandung as many as 8,021 vehicles, while those entering Jakarta are 6,642 vehicles. Then there are also data of vehicles going towards Puncak via Ciawi Toll Roads with 5,781 vehicles, and those entering Jakarta are 6,926 vehicles.
Meanwhile, regarding data on traffic accident as of Saturday December 31st, 2022, there were 404 incidents, including 111 fatalities, 62 seriously injured victims, and 511 others having minor injuries.
"Based on the monitoring of ETLE cameras, 236 cases of traffic violators were recorded," she explained.
Furthermore, regarding the number of departing passengers using the bus transportation mode, there were 78,084 people with 7,166 units of busses. While passengers using train transportaion were 20,942 people, sea transportation were 23,406 people, and air transportation were 74,033 people.
