Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bengkulu. Directorate of Special Crimes Investigation of Bengkulu Regional Police again released Ujang Satria land mafia who is now in jail. Director of General Crimes of Bengkulu Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Teddy Suhendyawan said this case is the development of a land mafia case that was previously revealed. At first, police got report from a citizen confessed as the victim of land mafia practice. The victim named Emmawati had land located on Alur Jajar Street, Pekan Sabtu Sub-District, Selebar District, Bengkulu City. The land is 10,605 m2.
Based on the report, police studied the case and developed an investigation. "Based on our members' investigation, it is found out the victims we investigated for this case are related with the previous network, Ujang Satria's network. Ujang Satria is now in jail. He is punished with 2 years 8 months in jail," Director of General Crimes of Bengkulu Regional Police said.
Further, police arrested two suspects initial SE (65) and IS (34). The two suspects have different rool in running their actions. SE was in charge of coordinating the land they would take over and asked Ujang Satria's relative and IS (34) to run their activities smoothly.
"IS was in charge to fake signature of related parties such as those who live near the land they took over. They also make false documents, using fake sub-district stamp. The witnessed investigated mentioned it wasnt't their signature. Including we made confirmation to former head of sub-district who signed the document. They admitted it wasn't their signature," Director of General Crimes of Bengkulu Regional Police said.
SE is knon as retirement of Civil State Apparatus who once was a secretary of a sub-district in Seluma Regency, meanwhile IS (34) is an active Civil State Apparatus who perform as a teacher at a senior high school in Bengkulu Tengah Regency.
For their action, the perpetrators are punished with Article 263 paragraph 1 on falsification on authentic documents with a maximum imprisoned of 6 (six) years.
Meanwhile Head of Public Affairs of Bengkulu Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Sudarno mentioned the practice of the land mafia is long series, so it is possible it will continue to develop. He also advised people to report if knowing the practice of land mafia crime.
