Bhayangkari of Cianjur does not want to sit iddly while the people of Cianjur is suffering after the earthquake destroys their houses and forced them to leave.
The Cianjur Bhayangkari, under the leadership of Ristra Doni Hermawan, assisted by Cianjur policewomen, help built public kitchen at Cianjur Police command HQ.
The head of East Java Police public relations, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo said that the public kitchen that was built by the Bhayangkari shows that they truly care for the refugges in Cianjur.
“It is hoped that the kitchen could provide the needs of the refugees,” said Ibrahim Tompo
The chairperson of Cianjur Bhayangkari says that the kitchen has been built since day one after the earthquake because lots of shops and stalls are closed due to the disaster.
“We have built this public kitchen since day one to fulfil the needs of the refugees at the rescue post,” said Ristra, Wednesday (11/23).
In just a day, she stated that the public kitchen could produce up to 300 food packages to the refugees at the rescue post of Cianjur Police. Moreover, the food are also given to the surrounding communities.
