Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Serang. Banten Regional Police started to implement insulation at entrance and exit access to decrease people mobility during Emergency PPKM (Community Restriction Activity) started on July 3 to 20, 2021.
Chief of Banten Regional Police, Police Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto mentioned 19 points of insulation/blocking post and 15 points of controlling post have been prepared. Joint officers will be on duty for 24 hours.
"All entrances to the border areas of Banten Regional Police and Resort Police jurisdiction are closed/tightened to limit the mobility of citizens, the borders between districts/cities are also tightened," Police Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto explained Sunday (04/07/21).
Police Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto explained decisive steps must be taken, given the fact that Corona virus case is increasing in Banten. This condition must be stopped immediately.
"Of the 6 regencies/cities in Banten Regional Police jurisdiction, only Serang City entered level 4, while 4 other Regencies/Cities entered the level 3 and Pandeglang Regencies entered level 2. Therefore I hope all parties participate to support Banten Regional Police in implementing Emergency PPKM firmly in the jurisdiction of Banten Regional Police,” the two-star General said.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Affairs of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Edy Sumardi said by implementing the Emergency PPKM, number of Covid-19 could be reduced and the whole community could comply with health protocols.
"Let's support the implementation of Emergency PPKM, because this is to way to break the spread of Covid-19," , Head of Public Affairs of Banten Regional Police closed.
