Banten Governor, Wahidin Halim, along with the Chief of Banten Regional Police, Police Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, and Commander of 064/Maulana Yusuf Military Region, Armed Forces Brigadier General Gumuruh Winardjatmiko, launches the group sending the Emergency PPKM (Public Activity Restriction Enforcement) Aid in Banten Regional Police Headquarter, Friday (16/07/2021).
The aid is consists of 2,000 basic necessities packages delivered by the Community Police Unit to the self-isolating residents and people affected by the pandemic.
Banten governor said that this Emergency PPKM aid is the form of care from the government and Armed Forces-Police to alleviate the burden of people affected by the Emergency PPKM.
"On today we just depart the team that distribute Emergency PPKM Aid across areas under the jurisdiction of Banten Regional Police", the Banten governor said.
"This aid will later be distributed to seld-isolating people and also those who are affected by Emergency PPKM", the Banten governor added.
Governor hopes that this aid distribution could accelerate Covid-19 handling, especially in Banten province.
"I hope this aid could alleviate people's burden, and I also hope that this enforcement (Emergency PPKM) could accelerate Covid-19 handling", the Banten governor concluded.
Besides, the Chief of Banten Regional Police added that this basic necessities package for the Emergency PPKM is conducted across the country.
"And this Emergency PPKM aid is conducted across Indonesia. In areas under the jurisdiction of Banten Regional Police, we distributed 2,000 packages of basic necessities", Chief of Banten Regional Police said.
Chief of Banten Regional Police explained that the basic necessities package would be distributed by Community Police units spread across areas under the jurisdiction of Banten Regional Police.
"For the distribution, we instruct Community Police units spread across areas under Banten Regional Police, because they know people's conditions on the ground", Chief of Banten Regional Police concludes.
