Bangka Belitung Regional Police Chief Releases Distribution of 5,000 Social Aid Packages Delivered Door to Door

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Pangkal Pinang. The Chief of the Bangka Belitung Regional Police, Pol. Inspector General Anang Syarif Hidayat symbolically released the distribution of social assistance activities in order to support micro Community Activity Restrictions in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province as many as 5,000 packages which were carried out door to door, Friday (07/16/21).

Also present, Deputy Governor of Bangka Belitung, Abdul Fatah, in his speech said that this activity is a real form of working together between the provincial government and the Indonesian National Police.

By working together, we are trying to help the community to ease the burden of those affected by Covid-19. Hopefully, the people of the Bangka Belitung Islands will get blessings and we will pray together so that this situation will pass quickly, said Deputy Governor Abdul Fatah.

On the same occasion, the Babel Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Anang Syarif Hidayat said this activity was not only carried out at the Regional Police, but also carried out at every Polres in Bangka Belitung.

"We launched the provision of social assistance to our brothers and sisters affected by Covid-19, today with a total of 7 Police Stations in Babel, as many as 5,000 packages we handed over to the community door to door, specifically for the affected community," said the Bangka Belitung Police Chief.

Pol. Inspector General Anang Syarif Hidayat expressed his concern for the small communities who were economically affected, where tightened activities in the community would affect people's income. So he also hopes that the provision of social assistance is useful and right on target.

"Along with the development of Covid-19 in the Bangka Belitung Islands area, tightening activities will have an impact on the economy of small communities, namely their income and income. Don't let people who can't eat to commit criminal acts in order to survive," concluded the Two Star General.
