Armed Forces-Police was patrolling close to Indonesia - Papua New Guinea border, precisely on Tanas village. This patrol was led by Chief of Bupul Sectoral Police, Police Inspector 2nd Class M Arisdianto, on Tuesday (27/7/2021).
The patrol was conducted from 09.00-11.00 local time and involved four Police personnel from Bupul Sectoral Police, two personnel from Eligobel Military District Command, and Village Head and Apparatus of Gerisar Village.
The patrol target is going to Tanas Village to visit the main village, local village and build communication with the residents.
"This is important to foster public security and order because we give information, education, and order if there are law-violating things", the Chief of Sectoral Police said.
Deputy Chief of Nemangkawi Task Force, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Arief Fajar Satria, now the Chief of Pekalongan Departmental Police, believes in the solidity of Armed Forces-Police in securing Papua. "Since the beginning, Armed Forces-Police is solid in maintaining public security and order in Papua and also in law enforcement and arresting spreader of terror of humanity in Papua".
Even though observing from afar, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Arief Fajar Satria sends his hope that the safety of Papuans becomes the priority in the middle of the Pandemic. "We cannot be separated. Stay solid and positive thinking. Wear a face mask and adhere to Health Protocols, and do not forget to get vaccinated".
