Approaching Bhayangkara Anniversary, Maluku Regional Police Distributes 2,400 Sacks of Rice

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Ambon. Maluku Regional Police distributes 2,400 5-kilogrammes sacks of rice in celebrating 75th Bhayangkara Anniversary on July 1.

The 2,400 rice sacks are distributed to poor people, orphans, laid-off employees, disabled people, offline motor-taxi drivers, and minibus drivers.

The assistance was directly handed over by Chief of Maluku Regional Police, Police Inspector General Refdi Andri, accompanied by Deputy Chief of Maluku Regional Police at Tahapary Court, Ambon, on Friday (25/06/2021).

"This is our routine every time we celebrate Bhayangkara anniversary", the Chief of Regional Police said.

The humanity social service is conducted to help people in need.

Even though still in Covid-19 pandemic situation, Maluku Regional Police still distribute the aid on humanity bases, with Health Protocols adherence in mind.

"This is also Maluku Regional Police's form of helping the government's aid", Chief of Regional Police added.

By distributing the aid, it will assist the government in recovering the national economy towards Advanced Indonesia.

This event was also attended by 16th/Pattimura Regional Military Commander, Pattimura Air Field Commander, Indonesian National Bank (BNI) 46, Jasa Raharja, Head of Regional Revenue Agency of Maluku, and Chairman of Regional Kemala Bhayangkari of Maluku.

Besides 5 kilogrammes of rice, Maluku Regional Police also distributed 15,520 face masks and appealed to the public to adhere to Health Protocols to suppress Covid-19 transmission.
