Tribratanews.polri.go.id - To secure activities during the 2023 New Year's Eve celebrations, Metro Jaya Police deployed more than half of its total personnel to carry out security at various points. Security was also carried out including Car Free Night along Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin and at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.
“We will deploy 2/3 of our strength and will fully back up security operations along Sudirman-Thamrin street where there are 7 stages that have been built. Later, there are points in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah that we will also secure along with local government officials," explained Inspector General Fadil Imran at the Metro Jaya Regional Police Headquarters quoted from the pmjnews page, Friday (30/12/22).
He added that the entire force of Polda Metro Jaya is 35,000. Later, other personnel who are not involved in securing the new year’s eve will carry out other security and routine activities. "One-third of our forces will carry out other routine activities the next day," he explained.
