Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Pekanbaru. Ahead of Bhayangkara's 75th Birthday, Riau Regional Police organised Social Service Activity by distributing 1,000 packages of nine-basic-needs (sembako), Friday (06/25/2021) morning.
Chief of Riau Regional Police, Police Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi mentioned the distribution of nine-basic-needs was carried out through ten Sectors Police in Pekanbaru City.
From the Sector Police, Bhabinkamtibmas (Village Leadership non-commissioned-officer for Social Security and Order) immediately distributed the packages to the people in their respective sub-districts.
"Praise to the Lord, on the 75th anniversary of Bhayangkara, together with Forkopimda (regional leadership communication forum) we carried out social service activity by providing 1,000 packages of nine-basic-needs to the people of Pekanbaru City," Chief of Riau Regional Police explained.
The theme of Bhayangkara's 75th Anniversary is ‘Transformasi Polri yang Presisi dalam mendukung percepatan penanganan Covid-19 serta memulihkan ekonomi nasional ‘ (Precise Police Transformation in supporting the acceleration of Covid-19 handling and restoring national economy).
"It’s our gratitude expression to the police and Forkopimda and to the people of Riau who take an active role and work together to help the Police," Chief of Riau Regional Police continued.
Chief of Riau Regional Police also hopes the collaboration can be realised, particularly as the dry season will come soon. Collaboration is required to prevent forest and land fires.
This activity also utilizes online motorbike taxis to distribute to each Sector Police in Pekanbaru City.
In welcoming the 75th anniversary of Bhayangkara, Riau Regional Police also organised Blood Donation event at the Vaccine Center of Bhayangkara Hospital, Pekanbaru.
The donor activity lasted for four days with target of 3,000 bags of blood. Blood donation activity started at 07.00 until 17.00 Indonesia Western Time for four days.
