Ahead of Eid Al Adha Holiday, Central Java Regional Police Tightened 244 Insulation Posts

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Blora. Ahead of Eid Al Adha Holiday, Central Java Regional Police started to conduct insulation at border lane. This effort is to reduce people mobility during upcoming Eid Al Adha holiday.

“Starting tonight we will close toll road. And for artery we will conduct evaluation. So, those who enter East Java, we have coordinated with East Java Regional Police who will implement insulation to enter [Central Java]. Also oppositely, those from East Java, insulation will be conducted in Central Java. So the filter is in these two lanes, East Java Regional Police and Central Java Regional police. East Java Regional Police, they will conduct the insulation for those who enter East Java, while entering Central Java, we will conduct the insulation. We’ve done this,” Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Achmad Luthfi said while monitoring the border lane of Central Java – East Java at Ketapang Post, Cepu District, Blora Regency.

Chief of Central Java Regional Police said during the implementation of Emergency PPKM until nowadays, people’s mobility in Central Java remains high, so it requires tightening during upcoming Eid Al Adha.

“Mobility is still high, particularly during holiday. Central Java is the place for homecoming and holiday, that’s why we tighten more,” he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Public Affair of Central Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Iqbal Al-Qudusy said police will tighten 244 insulation points in Central Java.

The 244 locations are located on district or city borders and inter-provincial borders.

In addition, there are also several points within the city or district.

“It has been running (insulation on non-toll roads), basically to reduce mobility. Because the condition is still like this (Covid-19 cases are increasing)," Iqbal said, Thursday (07/15/2021).
