Commander-in-Chief (Pangdam) V Brawijaya Major General Suharyanto, and Chief of East Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nico Afinta, accompanied by the Commander of Military Region (Danrem) 082/CPYJ, High Rank Officers of Military Area Command (Kodam) V/Brawijaya, High Rank Officers of East Java Regional Police, Mojokerto Regent, Commander of Military District (Dandim) and Chief of Mojokerto Resort Police, inspected Presisi Vaccination Outlet located at Mojokerto Resort Police yard.
The monitoring of Presisi Vaccine Outlet at Mojokerto Resort Police aims to support President of Republic of Indonesia's program in establishing Herd Immunity or group immunity with the achievement of 1 million vaccines per day. The theme of the activity is "Bhakti kesehatan Bhayangkara untuk Negeri (Bhayangkara Health Activity for the Nation)".
The Chief of East Java Regional Police explained the activity was following the order from President, Commander of Indonesia National Armed Forces and Chief of Indonesia National Police regarding to speed up = vaccination process with the target of 1 million vaccinations throughout Indonesia in a day.
"Meanwhile, East Java Regional Police is targeted to vaccine 117,478 thousand people, need to be continued per/day, so we coordinate with Pangdam V Brawijaya then ranks at thelower levels,“ Chief of East Java Regional explained.
He mentioned to speed up the vaccination process, East Java Regional Police initiated to open vaccination booths at Sector Police, Resort Police, and Military Sub-District Command (Koramil), and Military District Command (Kodim). These outlets are guarded by members of Indonesia National Armed Forces and Indonesia National Police.
“Number of vaccinations held at Mojokerto Regional Police was initially 750 doses, but because the public's interest was very high, another 150 doses were added. This activity can be implemented because of the synergy among Indonesia National Armed Forces, Indonesia National Police, provincial government, and suppoerted by Regent/Mayor, Commander of Military District (Dandim) and Chief of Resort Police as well as Indonesia National Armed Forces and Indonesia National Police health workers. We hope with this vaccination acceleration, number of active Covid can be suppressed so East Java's economic activity will rise again," Chief of East Java Regional Police.
After reviewing the vaccination activity, Pangdam V Brawijaya, Chief of East Java Regional and Mojokerto Regency Regional Leaders Forum (Forkopimda) continued the coordination meeting to discuss the anticipation to handle Covid-19 at the Mojokerto Resort Police Headquarters.
